David Locastro, MD, FACS, RVT, RPVI
Dr. David Locastro received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency at SUNY Health Science Center. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Phlebology.
One of the first physicians in the country to use laser treatment of varicose veins, David Locastro has dedicated his practice exclusively to vein treatment since 2002. He was among the first groups of physicians to be certified by the American Board of Phlebology and has performed over 2,000 laser cases and thousands of spider vein treatments.
Dr. Locastro is a board certified general surgeon specializing in the treatment of varicose and spider veins. As the director of the Total Vein Treatment Center, David Locastro has extensive experience with multiple techniques including laser treatment, sclerotherapy, microphlebectomy, and diagnostic ultrasound.
Among his numerous credentials, Dr. David Locastro is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
